Slim Chicken - Fort Leonard Wood

Only good thing about Fort Leonard Wood. Great chicken place even by a normal city's standards. Tons of good sauces and super generous portions.

Ordered a cayenne ranch chicken sandwich meal with fried pickles. Every piece of the entire meal was very obviously sitting out for a while. The chicken was a very small portion, and the breading was tough, I'm guessing because it sat under a warmer for a while. The fried pickles were soggy and cold. Not sure how that stuff sat for so long even though it was busy.

Chicken was like rubber and unable to eat. Manager was rude to her staff and it looks like this place just needs better management.

Peace and good afternoon yelpers, This remark is solely based on this establishment for the 3 times that I've been here...dined in twice and had take out once. Very busy location so I don't understand why both times that i dined in my food was served cold. I went to SC Saturday bc my battle wanted wings, and I literally had to repeat myself at the register 4 times. Back home, when I did work in the food industry, that was and I'm sure is still frowned upon. The cashier has one major job, to listen to the customer so I'm not understanding what's the big deal. My battle buddy that ordered before me didn't receive her sauces, And then I too didn't receive my sauces.... I ordered 6 wings and potato salad. The Mango habanero flavor is good. I was really looking forward the eating the potato salad when I realized right before taking my first bite, there was bacon in it. Which is fine, for folks that eat pork, HOWEVER, for us non-pork eaters, it will be VERY helpful that the menu discloses the fact that there is pork in certain items. I honestly was so upset but remained professional and nice when speaking to the SC employee. I kept apologizing to her for having to give it back, and she was very sweet about it not being my fault. I did appreciate that. I gave SC another try yesterday... but ordered something cold. The strawberry pecan salad made me very happy. Was a good meal before I went to workout... Slim Chicken establishment and higher corporate members, please look into disclosing when pork is certain items.. I will be back for that salad... and maybe give that strawberry cheesecake jar a try on my cheat day... :
