This place isnt that bad... perhaps the past is terrible .. but for us it was clean and simple .. they have large banquet rooms that were very nice and the food wasnt bad .. so for a banquet meal it was decent .. the mashed potatoes were amazing ...lol ..

The bar itself isn't bad, but the fact that it's located on post can be a drawback for some people. If you live on base, it's a nice spot to relax, watch the game on weekends, and enjoy some decent pub food. The buffalo shrimp appetizers are addicting and they have a good selection of draft beers. They also have a variety of events happening, making it a lively place to be. The staff is excellent and provides great service. However, being on base means you need to be cautious about getting too drunk, as you never know when a higher-ranking officer might walk in. The prices for food are a bit high compared to off-post pubs. Overall, I would give this bar a 3.5-star rating. It's a good place to hang out and have a drink if you're there for training courses like BLC, ALC, SLC, BOLC, CCC, etc. It's a safe option to avoid trouble. But if you're seeking more excitement, you might want to head to St. Louis instead.

This bar and grill met our expectations perfectly. The burgers were delicious and the side salad was also quite good. The servers were friendly and prompt. Given the limited dining options on base, this restaurant suited our needs just fine!

The venue itself is quite nice, with amenities like a pool table, darts, and TVs. However, the bartenders are terrible. They frequently ignored customers or made disrespectful comments about them to each other. Barbra, in particular, was especially unpleasant and even joked about not receiving tips. I do not appreciate being treated poorly by a rude bartender. The management should address this issue and remove these unprofessional individuals.

Black Jack has not been great in the past, but after the grand opening it has gotten much better! The servers are polite and down to earth, the food is much better (they have a new chef! Thank God the old one is gone! And the drinks are pretty cheap. I would recommend it. I like the new bar.
