What DiningGuide Reader doesn't like about Waxy O'connor Irish Pub Eatery:
Kitchen has never heard of seasonings, Shepherds pie was the blandest I ever had. No onion, carrot, 3 peas and very little beef. Dublin chicken. How can you screw up chicken breast spinach and blue cheese..they can. View all feedback.
This is the best restaurant I've visited in a long time. While the service was just okay, the food more than compensated for it. I tried the stir fry on one visit and a salmon special on another day, and both dishes were outstanding. The food was served promptly and piping hot. The salmon practically melted in my mouth. I would absolutely return time and again, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful meal and a wonderful experience.
The kitchen seems to have forgotten about seasonings altogether. The Shepherd's pie was the blandest I've ever tasted—no onions, no carrots, just three peas and barely any beef. As for the Dublin chicken, it's hard to believe that anyone could mess up a dish of chicken breast, spinach, and blue cheese, but they managed to do just that.
