Top Hat Delicatessen - Fort Lauderdale

Brunch here was great. the host was very nice. she found a place for my electric scooter and the bartender welcomed me quickly. he was also very polite and very knowledgeable in the menu. I at the steak and eggs that were perfectly cooked. ordered 3 sandwiches to go for friends who all saw delicious. look forward to a return and try to eat more on the menu.

Reuben with deviled eggs. Egg white omelette with vegetables and tomato slices with basil oil and pesto. Crispy French fries with seasoning. All very good.

We dine at Tophat every week and often bring friends along. Today, we arrived at 2:20 PM (they're open until 3:30 PM) and had a young child with us. I asked the hostess if we could sit in a booth, as it's a quieter area and more accommodating for kids. Most of the booths were empty. She immediately stopped smiling and said, "Would you mind sitting at the window table?" which is right by the entrance. I was surprised by her response, especially since I had already expressed my preference. There was another lady, likely a waitress, who witnessed this and rolled her eyes dramatically, prompting my husband to question whether we should go somewhere else. This behavior is highly unusual for the staff and seemed unwarranted. On a positive note, the food was tasty, and our waitress was extremely pleasant.

What a delightful deli! The lighting is stunning, and the displays are lovely. I frequently visit Orange County, CA, and I adore the atmosphere here.

This is by far my favorite breakfast spot in all of Fort Lauderdale. The food is both delicious and fresh, and the service is incredibly friendly. The prices are quite reasonable too. I love bringing people here to enjoy the fresh food and delightful fruit juices.
