The Pirate Republic Seafood Grill

We kept a snack and a few drinks after the walk in downtown. You have an amazing location to stop with a dock when you? re boating. The terrace has a great view of the water/canals and the menu has a lot of options for a quick lunch or a nice dinner. The cocktails we got were strong and refreshing. The food was also very good.

The ONLY thing good about this place was the water. They weren't even that busy and it took forever for us to even get water on our table. The alcoholic beverages were straight liquor. The shrimp was way overcooked. The food is completely overpriced for what it is. The pirate bowl was exceptionally salty. This place is a tourist trap. Save your money time, that's better place. I promise you.

My brother and I took our mother here for her early mother's day dinner Service was fast, the waiter knew the menu very well and was able to give suggestions and even warned my mother about a dish that is known to be a bit salty. That was a really nice touch letting me know these are thoughtful people. The views were nice, if you have a boat you can pull right up to the dock The food was fresh the only thing I wasn't crazy about was the calamari For drinks the 3 of us don't consume alcohol (anymore ? so I had ice water my brother had a bottle of Fiji water and my mother ordered fresh passion fruit juice which was amazing no added sugar or anything From the pictures I can say yes all the food was as good as it looks and there server has upgrade options for those dishes like my Pirates bowl I could have added octopus and something that didn't come in it. Great experience, great service, great food, I will definitely be returning. Date night or family dinner approved Check for all of us with a $30 tip was $180ish they don't charge gratuity either?

Really really good food. Fresh fresh seafood dishes. Well seasoned. Amazing staff. The night we were there, there was a rain storm and we and other guests out on the decks had to rush in. The manager handled the chaos at the most amazing manager level. We will be back!

This is my second time, first one was years ago and what a great pleasure to find that this place gets better and better. Decor is fun. The food it was absolutely delicious. Seafood with an original Brazilian mix. The food came fast and perfect cooked. My favorite seafood pasta, coconut shrimp and Brazilian capresa salad. I just get hungry just remembering! The view was amazing, try to sit in the dock at sunset, to see the lights changing over the river and the buildings. We loved Pirate Republic and definitely will be come back.
