So from the getgo the staff is awesome! The food is fantastic and not overpriced. If you come in for dinner, you have to ask for Phil. If you are just dropping in for a drink, see Mrs. Simona at the bar as she is fantastic! I have been here enough that I have had just about everything on the menu, and it's all good. The bar staff was rude, the manager not much better. This place is great. I’ve visited for three days and went there every day. The food was awesome. The beer was very cold. And my bartender Simona was absolutely the best ever!
This was an unexpected bright spot of our anniversary trip... Host was super friendly and hospitable. Waitress was personable, cheery, and attentive. The food was great (grilled fish sandwich and vegetarian pizza) and the drinks were free with vouchers from the hotel. Glad we made the choice to stay put for dinner ?Food: 5/5
The restaurant at the Emabasy Suites in Ft Lauderdale is also in charge of breakfast. Breakfast is amazing, one of the best I’ve had. Lots of options and the service is very well organized. Omelette safe delicious.

Overall, the Embassy brand has gone downhill quite a bit in recent years, and it’s reflected everywhere in the 17th Street location. We will not be returning.
