came for my daughter sweet sixteen birthday from maryland! we loved everything from ambiente, location, vibes and service. it was busy, but everyone was super very nice and our waiter was excellent with their tips and explain the menu options. will definitely come back next trip back to ft lauderdale View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Takato:
the sushi was the star of the show! definitely would have ordered more. the sea bass was fair, it was rubbery and tasteless. they love the garnel fried rice so much that we have some to go. next time, will stay with the sushi! View all feedback.
Outstanding as always. The grilled Branzino is a must have. Along with the spicy edamame and crispy tuna. The best.
Beautifully decorated, ambiance was perfect! Our waiter was very knowledgable and offered very good recommendations! All the food and cocktails were delicious It is very pricey so be prepared and portions are small but I recommend sharing to try more! Love it!!
Sashimi Chef’s Choice plate was abysmal (thick cuts and warm). I was rushed through my meal which detracted from the beautiful view of the ocean. Will not return and instead try and find a better meal somewhere else.

We had a nice table on the terrace with a beautiful view, it was a little windy, but we could hear the music and still have a conversation. our server matteo was excellent, helped us with the selection of food and everything was delicious. would recommend takato to anyone who wants to experience new kitchen.
