Pita Pit - Fort Lauderdale

The Pita Pit in downtown Fort Lauderdale seems to be a franchise. I need to see another one and if this place is the standard, you need to check it. The place is conveniently located in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale near the bars and nightclubs. It is clean and has a friendly staff. I ordered the chickens Caesar Pita as a combo with drinks and chips. Everything is made fresh and there is very little waiting for orders. The topping bar specializes in your meal with all fresh vegetables and cheeses. The prices were decent and the beverage station served even with soda, tea and fruit juices. It's a winner.

I love this place because it's fast food to grab when you're in a hurry. The people who work there are great! And oh on Wednesday they have double meat for a dollar! What rocks! I hope this company begins to expand more because I would take this over Gyroville every day! Food quality was also good for the price

Super friendly team members! Love the concept. Loved my custom Pita! Outdoor area was kind of shattered, but I think that more a certificate for the cartridges and not the personnel will clean up after themselves!

Inexpensive and does the job when I'm tired of my same pizza spot and empanada spot. The staff always greets you with smiles and welcomes you. Service is quick and professional. Better than your average fast food option for this type of food. I wish they were open even later than they are.

My experience is for a take out order that was for 10 people. Set up is similar to a Subway or Chipotle where you order at a counter, select your toppings. Drinks chips are self service. Small pitas are about the size of a McDonald's burrito. Salads come in a square cardboard box. Sandwich meat is processed chicken gyro meat that is not very flavorful. Toppings are fresh plentiful. For the price quality, I would choose Mini Pita Mediterranean Cafe where everything is authentic, freshly made to order and no processed foods.
