Contribute FeedbackDel Frisco's Grille in Miami received mixed reviews. Some patrons were disappointed in the quality of the food, such as frozen shrimp and overly salty dishes. Others appreciated the attentive service and beautiful ambiance. The menu and food quality did not meet expectations for some diners, despite a pleasant dining experience overall. The restaurant had both positive and negative feedback on food, ambience, and service, making it a somewhat controversial option for a meal out.
I really don't know what happened on my most recent visit here (which was my first), but none of the food came out of the kitchen cooked correctly. All of our meet entrees came out with the wrong temperature, either severely overcooked or severelyundercooked. It was a bit strange, as I have eaten at other del Frisco's and never experienced a problem like this before.Fortunately, both the server and the manager recognized quickly that there was a problem, and they did everything that theycould possibly think of to try to make my party happy. They were so humble and apologetic, and I really appreciated that.. Idon't know if I'll go back to the restaurant, but if I did, it would be because of the way the server and the manager handledthe unfortunate experience that I had.
Called to see if walk-ins were welcomed and was seated upon entering. Our server Dan “Dan the Man” was so hospitable and I loved his infectious energy. His opinion on the selections on the menu were spot on as the VIP cocktail was very good inaddition to the complimentary biscuits. The lump sum crab cake was also very good and so delicious. I selected the Mix Matchwith filet medallions and pan seared scallops with a side of roasted asparagus. Also had a glass of Riesling that paired greatwith my meal . I enjoyed my experience and I would definitely return due to Dan’s excellent customer service. Thank you !!
Came here on our last day of our getaway. We ordered the Caesar salad and steak egg rolls to start. For our main we ordered the NY strip with the mushrooms and Mac and cheese as the side. I prefer my steaks medium rare, the first one they brought out wasmore like medium well. I didn’t want to waste food but the server insisted on bringing another steak which was kind of here. The manager came over and made some conversation and gave us fresh sides. I appreciated the gesture but while sitting I heard atleast 2 other tables mention something about their steaks. I also really hope that they find a way to repurpose the foodthat’s sent back.
On the daddy mommy vacation made reservations 3 weeks prior to visiting. Seated right away. Not very busy on a Sunday evening. Ordered a VIP based on our waitress recommendation and it was delish. The husband ordered his standard Long Island Ice Tea. Hetried to order tequila, at this time no top shelf only like alot of local tequila. Ended up ordering Reposado, which was ok. Steak and cheese egg rolls were tasty. Ordered filet med rare with crabcake on top with a lobster sauce. Very good for Florida.Visiting from Baltimore the home of crabcakes. Love my sweet potato fries. Dessert was by recommendation, peanutbutter pie wasvery nice. Overall it was a nice experience.
Service was good. I really wanted to like this place because the ambiance is on point— but the food was extremely underwhelming, especially for the price point. We had reservations else wear but decided to come in and try this place. I wasnot a fan of anything we tried.. everything had a very bland flavor.
