What DiningGuide Reader doesn't like about Catfish Deweys:
From the moment we walked in there was a nasty smell that made me want to leave, however I was with other people and did not want to ruin it for them. You would think they would have catfish there, however when we ordered it from the menu she said they had run out of catfish but they were getting some in soon but they would be frozen so we would have to wait until they defrost, gross. You mean to tell me a catfish re... View all feedback. What Keith likes about Catfish Deweys:
If there is no seasoning or marinade that can penetrate the shell of a stone crab claw, then what are my options of the flavor? As long as the claws are fresh what’s the difference? Lots of people say that Joe’s cooks them perfectly. So does Catfish Deweys, Joe isn’t the only guy that could use a timer. read moreCatfish Dewey's in Fort Lauderdale has received a mix of reviews, but the general consensus seems to be positive. While some customers complained about the smell upon entering and the lack of fresh catfish, others raved about the all-you-can-eat specials and the quality of the seafood. The portions were said to be generous and the options for preparation - fried, blackened, or grilled - were all recommended. Even during times of construction causing power outages, the service was complimented. Overall, Catfish Dewey's appears to be a popular spot for seafood lovers looking for a casual dining experience with a variety of delicious options.
