My first time here, my friend's idea. I ordered Chilaquiles with beans, they combined Salsa Roja and Verde, not spicy but good taste, the fried beans were a little smokey for my taste. R had both a peach, Basil Margarita on the rim. It was really delicious. They also gave us a shot that was so delicious. Very colorful. View all feedback.
What Tom Moran doesn't like about Casa Frida Mexican Cuisine:
I LOVE this place. Unique cuisine, love their specials. Great margaritas, great food, fun vibe, great decor. Julian took great care of us, explaining all the food choices, making sure we were happy and taken care of, hope we get him when we return! Loved the basil mango habanero margarita, and great explanation of the queso relleno, one of their specials (you should try! View all feedback.
One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I've ever visited in Florida. The decoration and mood of the place is really mexican. We were greeted by a gentleman who seemed to be a manager or owner, and he explained everything on the menu and told us about the peculiarities that hospitality was very welcoming and truly representative as a Mexican establishment should be. They had Frida pictures and quotations all over the place therefore the name! and the food was really good. We have tried seasonal dishes that are usually not available. They were excellent! We were told that many Mexican restaurants do not make these dishes because they are so complex, we tried and were amazing!! Definitely come back to try more things!!

Absolutely hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant in ft Lauderdale!! Not only are the food and drinks super authentic and delicious (and constantly updated with amazing specials), but the service is always top-notch. Everyone is SO kind, friendly, welcoming, helpful and FUN! Love coming here with friends and family. Salud!!
Server was nice and food was ok. The ?special sauce? they bring for you is good but it just tasted like Cholula. We ordered the queso fundido, server described it correctly (stringy thick white cheese) but it was just awkward to eat and it?s too thick to dip chips into, tasted ok. Chips and salsa with the tomatillo-like salsa was probably our favorite. Almost $60 for two meals and an appetizer though, that?s too much.
Casa Frida is a certain must do stain. Mexican textiles and Nick-Nacks welcome you when you go in. The Dim lighting set the scenery for the series of spot and string lights throughout the restaurant. I celebrated my birthday, and my only regret has not been here earlier. Everything from the authentic food. Perfectly executed drinks and impeccable service. Our server was Julian and his attention and patience with my daughter was commendable. I look forward to a regular Casa Frida??
