I have recently moved to the area from Kentucky and can confidently say that this restaurant is one of the best in town. A coworker invited me to join them here and I had a fantastic time enjoying delicious food and great company. As an Italian originally from Tuscany, I was pleasantly surprised by the authentic flavors of the food. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, with the bartender even remembering... What Kyle C doesn't like about Cafe Vico:
The food was average at best. The prices were way too high considering the quality of the food. The service was terrible, with at least 4 servers standing around multiple times. View all feedback.
From the outside, it may not seem very attractive, but as soon as you pass through the entrance, there is a whole new world! The beautiful location is dimly lit and has a very romantic and intimate atmosphere. It features a piano bar and tables with very comfortable seating. The service is impeccable! The staff is excellent and goes above and beyond to make your experience at the place fantastic. The menu is filled with delicious Italian dishes, prepared by Brazilian chef, Vico. The dishes are very good and generously portioned, everything blends together perfectly. The desserts are huge and very good. The brownie with ice cream is a unique treat and worth saving room for. It's great for sharing because it's really a lot of food! Oh, they also have good beer, not just good wine. The perfect place to go as a couple and enjoy every moment.

The desserts are large and delicious, with the ice cream brownie being a standout item worth saving room for. It's a good idea to share dishes because the portions are quite generous. Additionally, they offer a selection of good beers in addition to wine. This is the perfect place to visit with loved ones and savor every moment.
My spouse and I were disappointed with our experience at Café Vico last night. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants when we visited FLL, but since we moved here four years ago, we had not been back. The food was just okay, lacking the heart we remembered. The red sauce was too sweet, and the Bolognese had an overwhelming amount of nutmeg. The hot side dishes were served cold, and the service felt rushed and perfunctory. The Chicken Milanese was the only dish we enjoyed and would consider ordering again. The staff were well-dressed and professional. Despite being light eaters and ordering conservatively, our bill came out to around $160, including a bottle of wine, appetizer, salad, and two entrees. The portion sizes were generous, with enough leftovers to take home. The total cost seemed a bit high for the overall experience, but not out of the ordinary for FLL. It's unfortunate that Café Vico has lost its charm for us, as there are many other Italian restaurants we would rather try. The photo shows the leftover portion of Chicken Milanese, which was substantial. If you enjoy large portions, you may appreciate this restaurant.
This restaurant is a hidden gem located in a shopping center. The food is absolutely delicious and the Happy Hour is fantastic. I love this place!
