I’ve worked at the Birchwood Mall for 10+ years. I have truly seen it all. The responses from the owners on these reviews shows how much they do not care and disregard their customers if it is not the feedback they want to hear. They only ever talk about the “thousands of positive feedback” they have received, but they never do anything about the negative reviews people have. They stand by their poor decisions of man... When I arrived, they had just sold the last piece of pfeffersalat. I told the staff that it was fine, and that I would wait. I then moved to the next table, which was about 15 feet away. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
It’s not bad. It’s not really amazing, but it’s certainly not terrible. The portions are quite generous, although the dishes could have been served warmer.
The food is decent, but not exceptional. However, today I was disappointed to see that the woman preparing the cold food wasn’t wearing gloves. From my own experience working in a pizza place, I know that it’s a requirement to wear gloves when handling food that doesn’t go in the oven. While I understand that handwashing can be more effective than wearing gloves throughout the day, it was disturbing to see her use her bare hands to scoop pasta salad. Overall, that lack of hygiene was quite off-putting.
They say “every review is a good review”. the owners and the upper management were told by multiple customers and employees that their general manager is terrible at this place, but they refuse to do something about it and allow to keep the behavior while their workers are verbally abused before customers and mall employees. it is also rude for customers and has an evil attitude. not to mention, eating is always cold and evil! the personal was also paid by the general manager to write 5 star reviews that most have changed in a 1 star. the personal deserves it better than the. ridiculous. should be closed.

They stand by their poor decisions of management choice that clearly shows to customers, myself, and other mall employees. Nothing has been done besides offering free food. This place won’t last long with that mentality and without the willingness to make changes.
