The Kitchen - Fort Erie

Food was awesome, everything's homemade, even the bread. Great desserts too! A little expensive though.

We stopped here for lunch on our return cycling portion of the Friendshjp Trail. The sandwiches are big and delicious! Yes, it's a little pricy but we were on vacation so we didn't mind. Bonus for us: large water jugs filled with sliced oranges and lemons. They didn't mind us filling up our water bottles.

Have heard about The Kitchen a lot on FB, so decided to try it while I was in town. It's in a good location, it's clean and beautiful inside. Seating is on the second floor, so folks with mobility issues would need to get take-out.Three of us ate today. We had the tuna sandwich, a salad of organic greens with chicken, a serving of potato salad, and a Mexican grain bowl. The portions were large. The Mexican grain bowl was pretty but not very flavourful. Overall good meals though. The cost was $47.

This is a restaurant that uses only fresh, organics to provide a taste sensation that is unique to the region. The breads are baked fresh every day and the desserts are to die for. It doesn't come cheap... but for quality there is none to compare

This place is so unique. Love the vibe and really loved the food. Staff was so attentive and friendly. And the food!!!!!!!! Hubby said it was the best burger he has ever eaten. I had the soup and sandwich special and it was perfect!!!! Bought some bread home to enjoy for dinner. Check this place out because you will not be disappointed!!
