I ordered the eggs and biscuits with gravy, and everything was cooked to perfection—the poached eggs and crispy hash browns were a highlight. The gravy was tasty, and while I’m usually not a fan of this style of sausage, I found it very good. The pancake sampler made me wish I had ordered pancakes; they were cooked flawlessly with a delightful crispness that I can't quite explain, but they left me wanting more.

What E M doesn't like about Urban Egg A Daytime Eatery:
The service at this restaurant was excellent. However, the food left something to be desired. The bartender, either Isabel or Annabel (I can't quite remember), was very friendly and provided prompt service. Unfortunately, the food portions were quite small and felt overpriced. I paid $20 for a steak and eggs dish, which included only a 4oz steak and two eggs. View all feedback.
Despite the bustling crowd at Urban, our server Edward delivered exceptional service. He was knowledgeable and answered all of our menu questions with ease.
The hash browns were quite basic, resembling shoestring potatoes, with a nice balance of crispy and soft textures. The blue corn tortillas were delightful, crisp and filled with black beans, eggs, crema, and a bit of guacamole topped with the two types of chili. This combination was wonderful, aside from the heat that masked some other flavors. I also tried George's berries, but there were a couple of downsides: the serving of strawberries was quite small, and they had run out of blueberries. I felt the price for that item was rather steep. On a positive note, the coffee was smooth and mellow without any bitterness. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was interesting, featuring an industrial warehouse style with corrugated metal ceilings that exposed air ducts, sprinkler pipes, and wiring. The light fixtures around the dining area contributed to the industrial vibe, yet the overall atmosphere was quite appealing. The restaurant appeared very clean and modern, including the visible kitchen, which I noticed as I walked by on my way to the restroom after settling my bill. I will definitely return!
Vegetarian options: There were numerous modifications available to make dishes vegetarian throughout the menu! The primary options included tofu, mushrooms, and plant-based chorizo. Dietary restrictions: There were many gluten-free options available as well.

This is a lovely restaurant with delicious food. I dined in for breakfast, and I found the prices to be quite reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service was also a 5, and the atmosphere equally deserves a 5. Highly recommend!
