The Reserve By Old Elk Distillery

Old Elk was great. The overall feel of the place was a nice, quiet, clean and neat bar setting. The waitress was very attentive and very knowledgeable about all of the drinks. We ordered the bread pudding and it was fantastic. Will be coming back to try different drinks and more food next time.

5 stars, only because I can't leave more!!! Food and service were PHENOMENAL!!!! Our waitress was attentive despite it being packed, and she really added to the experience. You could see the entire restaurant works as a team, and it creates an AMAZING atmosphere! The drinks can't be beat, except by the people making them that provided a great show while we ate. The elk sausage in a blanket, chips and dips, and elk burger were incredible! I highly recommend this restaurant!

We came here at a little after 11 as the G said it was open, which it wasn't open till noon. We were able to make reservations for noon, but on a Friday with no college kids around, it was fine and not needed.The parking is hard to find, but there was a garage about 1.5 blocks away, which is $1 an hour. If you find street parking, it is 2 hrs free.We sat at the bar, and the server was very nice. The old fashion was good and mixed well. We ordered a few 0.5 oz samples also. We normally drink Ryes, and this one was a bit harsh for me, but it was fine mixed in the old fashion. And then the other sample was the pineapple whiskey, which was really good.Overall it was a fun experience and the staff was friendly. I recommend it if you are in the area.

Great food. Great drinks. Cool atmosphere and the staff is great ! The cask finishes bourbons are unreal. They are my favorite bourbons of any producer. Love the elk burger and pot pie. Some Branzino on the menu would be a nice touch. If your in Fort Collins definitely stop in.
