I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. In contrast, my visit to the Waffle House in Fort Collins was quite disappointing. Having dined at several locations in the South, I found them to be consistent in quality. However, this particular Waffle House seems to have altered its menu to fit their own preferences. What Vernice Jast doesn't like about Denny's:
I gave them 3 stars because the staff was so nice and sweet. The food on the other hand wasn't so great. I had some type of dish with potatoes, bell peppers, onions, sausage, and eggs. It was more greasy than anything. It really didn't have a flavor because there was so much grease in the bottom of the plate. I took a few bites just to taste it to see what it tastes like. You could tell they were a bit short staffed, but there was awesome teamwork amongst the staff! Malia was out server and she rocked! I needed some special stuff for my diet and she totally made it happen, with a huge smile. She's an awesome server! Food was good for me, fiance didn't much like his, but the service, communication and teamwork were too notch!
Did not give me what I ordered. Then proceeds to tell me to come back to the store to get a new meal. I asked for reimbursement and he said no. And I had to tell him then I do not live in that city I live 2000 miles away I will not be turning around to come and get my food. So please reimburse, nope

My Wife ordered by far the best chicken tenders on earth from here. They we're divine (she shared). Of course the rest of our food food good as well. The staff was friendly even when my daughter elbowed her lemonade all over the place. We will visit again.
Average crappy Dennys experience. Would be great if they had staff. They were great 25 years ago not sure what happened.
