Stopped by here an hour before closing and the place was hoppin'! One young man was working front of house, bringing out pick up orders, AND waiting all of the tables, and he was absolutely killing it. He was extremely kind, attentive, and charismatic. The food was fantastic as well our table had three different sushi rolls, yakisoba, and teriyaki, and all were Delicious. The portions were extremely generous for the prices. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu! The only thing I could ask for is that the maki rolls be cut a little smaller, as the slices were quite large and required multiple bites.
Loved this joint for a long time. I just came back into town and missed sushi so so much. They look like they’ve been able to upgrade some things lately! Building looks amazing. I ordered and got my food in 10 minutes total. The waitress remembered me (from a while ago now) and was very quick. Nigiri was AWESOME. Huge pieces of fish, I got 4 nigiri (8 pieces) and that was nearly a whole meal. Cheaper than I expected too, even with a card charge and the tip.
Went in and ordered to go. After waiting for an hour (the gal who ordered just 30 seconds before me had gotten her food like 5 minutes before) I asked about ETA on my order. Apparently they hadn't even started it yet because I had to wait another 15 minutes. No apology or anything. Just a here ya go. Luckily the food was good. Still wouldn't eat here again. Went in at 6 on Saturday and the lady at the counter was so surprised the 4 people were coming in at that time.
We had a delicious Japanese meal in Fort Bragg this week with our family and young children. Our server, Roy, was interactive and entertaining, keeping the kids happy. We ordered a sushi moriawase which was a nice combination of nigiri sushi and tuna maki that was very fresh and tasty. The soup udon with beef was good, but we felt the extra noodles we added for $3 didn't make much of a difference as the bowl was still small. Perhaps serving the extra noodles in a separate bowl would have been better. The salmon hand roll was a hit with the young child. The combination bento with teriyaki salmon and tempura was a good portion and the tempura was delicious. We also ordered extra avocado maki and yellow pickle maki, which everyone enjoyed. Our guests and ourselves were happy with the meal. Good job! Keep it up!
