This restaurant is excellent. It's a hidden gem in the small town of Atkinson. After reading the great reviews, we decided to make a reservation. There were four of us, each ordering a different appetizer, main course, and dessert. Everything was exceptional! What User doesn't like about Mangiami Italiano:
please save her hard earned money and eat them elsewhere. the with lung problems should not eat here because it is super dusty, dirty and smells like smoke. the service was under the cut, the kitchen for ever to bring out food. when they did, it was subdued and tasteless. the chicken was dry, pasta was hard. there was a hair in my man eating. big. then to finish it from the total bill was almost $45 for two people wi... My man and I were in the opposite for a family meeting and we have enjoyed this restaurant. the service and the food were both fantastic. it's 6 months ago, but we're both still the best Italian food we've ever eaten. thanks for a great experience.
Let's start with the good. The artichoke cheese dip and calamari were both very good. Pasta Rags were delicious as always. The house wine was excellent. I was able to order sauteed spinach which wasn't on the menu and they were glad to do that for us. It was very good. Our waiter Sam was pleasant and did a good job . Now for the not-so-good: Seafood dish which was supposed to have scallops had none which wouldn't be a problem had it been stated before we ordered but she was kind of looking forward to those. The ribeye was not a good cut of meat even though it was cooked correctly it was just tough. Hindsight... I should have sent it back, but I know restaurants are struggling right now. I hope this one can get back to its old self because it used to be amazing!!!

Excellent dining experience. Service was prompt and professional. The food is top notch. Mangiami's is a gem of a restaurant in a gem of a small Wisconsin town, Fort Atkinson.
My wife and I had a great experience here tonight for birthday the waiter was super inviting and the food was phenomenal! Definitely reccomend
