We aren’t required to wash our hands between handling transactions and serving food because we’re not actually touching the food itself; we’re only touching the handles of the utensils that come into contact with it. But does that really make it any better? It’s disgusting and unacceptable, especially considering that workers then go on to touch containers, lids, utensils, napkins, sauces, etc., including folding the flaps of the containers that directly touch my food! These are all things I will need to handle in order to eat the food I just bought! I also have serious doubts about the utensils never falling into the food. This is just a poor practice and unacceptable. You've lost me as a customer for good, especially after I pointed out this issue to a worker, who continued serving food without stopping to wash her hands.
I visited this restaurant on Saturday, December 17, 2022. The server initially approached me to take my order but then quickly started chatting with a co-worker and walked away. Another server ended up taking our order instead. Overall, the atmosphere felt quite unwelcoming, and the staff seemed rude. We won't be coming back to this particular Panda Express.
The service at this restaurant tends to be quite slow. The main issue appears to be their focus on drive-thru and online orders. I noticed that there were 10 customers waiting in line, yet it seemed like no one was paying attention to them. Additionally, several items on the menu were unavailable, which was frustrating. I had to wait 10 minutes just for my mushroom chicken. They really need to prioritize the customers who are waiting in-store, especially since the line often extends outside. It would be helpful for them to have extra staff on hand to assist inside. I hope they can address this issue, as the long wait times make me reluctant to come back.
I placed my order online in advance and arrived on time, but I ended up waiting an extra hour. They served someone who arrived after me, even though my food was already prepared. They had everything ready—teriyaki, mushrooms, and rice—but it was frustrating that it took so long for them to actually put it all together.
