When it came to Forster it was way ahead of the bunch - big shop, luxurious mix of seating, good range of hot and cold drinks. Lots of other places have now caught up to the standard and maybe its time to take a Gourmet Leap and get ahead of everyone again. Whilst everything was really nice, it is also just what we have come to expect at Gloria Jeans. You can be guaranteed of their consistent franchise quality. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gloria Jean's Coffees:
Beware !! A charge is applied for using eftpos. Nice location. Okay coffee. Yesterday's muffin. Not busy. Fast baseline service. All round average experience. If the most convenient, I'd return but pay cash. Maybe try elsewhere first. View all feedback.
This restaurant is incredibly clean with friendly staff. The drinks are the best I've had in Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle, and North Coast. They are also a highly sustainable business, making efforts to save water and power and use fully recyclable and environmentally-friendly plates and utensils. They should be commended for their efforts. Even though I live in Newcastle, I make the effort to visit whenever I am in the area. I encourage everyone to do the same. You won't be disappointed.
Everything served up in take away containers even though we were not taking away! A small chocolate brownie with the tiniest 2 scoops of ice cream you ever saw in your life cost $7.95 served on a disposable plate with plastic cutlery. I didn't get the milkshake because it comes in a single use plastic container. Don't worry, I won't be back. The coffee is just average.
This was the worst experience I have ever had when ordering a coffee. The coffee was so hot that the milk has burnt and had turned bitter. A combination of that and the bitter af coffee bean. The coffee was not drinkable. The customer service when we ask to have dine in and were responded with we only do take away. I will never be ordering from here and ill be ensuring my friends and family don't either.
When we went there I ordered an iced coffee, I have to say it was nice but that’s where it ends. I don’t eat bbq sauce and asked the waitress if I could have a bacon and egg Roll without any sauce she told me there was only a slither on there and I wouldn’t even notice it as they were pre-made so we ordered two when they came there was so much sauce on it that my daughter offered to give me her bottom half with no sauce but when we turned them around they had on both sides smothered it in barbecue sauce neither of us ended up eating it and we through it in the bin. Very disappointed and a waste of money.
Today me and my partner ordered a Domino 's pizza and a milkshake and while we waited for our pizza and shake to be made we thought we would have a look around and so we stumbled upon Gloria Jeans and thought an Iced chocolate would go well with our pizza so I raced back to cancel our milkshake from Domino 's. We get back to Gloria Jeans after getting our pizza and we order an Iced Chocolate and an Iced Coffee ready to dig into our drinks and pizza only to be interrupted by staff. Sorry but its Food Drink I 'm afraid you will have to leave . A PAYING CUSTOMER TO LEAVE JUST FOR EATING FOOD THEY DID NOT HAVE AT THEIR OWN STORE. Now I dunno about everyone else in the world but I imagine being a paying customer its okay to sit down at a Cafe you know as long as you purchase something right? WRONG. The staff member asks us to leave just for eating some pizza there after we had spent nearly $15 for two drinks, Now Id get it if we were just eating food from somewhere else for no reason without making a purchase or if it was busy and people who had ordered food wanted to sit which I might add it WASN 'T busy at all they had about 3 customers there so Id get that honestly we were doing yous a favour by making it look a little more busy but to kick us out considering we made a purchase is just wrong and rude, Gloria Jeans your hospitality for your paying customers is ridiculous and I will not be coming to yous for a nice cold beverage anytime soon. It makes me wonder whats next? Is the mum feeding her baby some formula gonna be kicked out as well for you know feeding her baby something that isn 't from your store? Dumb I dunno which idiot made up that rule but it needs to be removed.
