What David Lawson doesn't like about Don Jose:
This is the 3rd time I have come in the last month while staying here for work. Food has been excellent but service has been absolutely horrible. This time got sat and watched 5 other tables get sat, drinks, chips and salsa, and order before anyone even came to the table.There's nothing else but fast food around here. 3 times tried to take my crew to a meal here 3 times just ignored.3 strikes your out. Another Mexican restaurant in this area where the food is bland. I know its not supposed to be spicy or hot, but .......
We visited at 6:00pm for dinner with 6 in our group. It was busy but we were served almost immediately and our waiter took very good care of us. Food came quickly, was hot and very good.
Nice atmosphere. Surprisingly so, considering it shares an entrance with a motel. I cannot dispute claims of authentic Mexican food, but the fajitas came sizzling to the table with plenty of meat and a tasty mix of grilled vegetables.

Clean place, excellent Mexican food, great service... We just didn't like the tortillas, we wish they had a different taste (tasted like microwave tortillas)
