We were often in italy, and we had a great meal in this restaurant. here they serve authentic Italian pizza, which is not as American pizza: the local buffalo m... read more We were often in italy, and we had a great meal in this restaurant. here they serve authentic Italian pizza, which is not as American pizza: the local buffalo mozzarella is fresh and actually wet. we had buffalo mozzarella with...prosciutto, and bruschetta it was excellent. the seafood courses we had were local catches calamari, garnel and fish, which was filled by the waiter at the table. wonderfully prepared and done to perfection. the prices were reasonable. the waiting staff was very welcoming, immediately occupied with us in English, patiently helped us with the Italian menu.

Alt... read more While touring the coast, we stopped for lunch at the L'Ancor restaurant, mainly because of its location. right on the main road in Formia with a great view. Although we had a not bad lunch, it was not great. We all ordered various pasta dishes,...and mostly we agreed they were okay The appetizer of a platter of clams to split ways ended up being platters of clams at euros per app.. Add to that a bottle of wine and a Peroni The price was a bit on the high side for food that we rated as ... not bad This restaurant is tastefully decorated with linen tablecloths, napkins, and seems to consider itself a bit higher end, and perhaps that is reflected in the price. The location is good, with plenty of parking.
