Fantastic view and professional service ! To appreciate the view I recommend to go for lunch or for an early dinner Gaeta is still visible . Food is very good I but I had better . View all feedback.
Beautiful restaurant high on the hill with spectacular views over Formia and Gaeta Our B and B owner recommended after our lunchtime arrival and we were looking for a bite to eat. It's a steep climb in the car but worth the effort. The menu is extensive and written in English. The food was amazing and very good value for money. We even came back the next day for dinner. Our starter of a seafood selection came and it was a huge plate full each and one plate would have done 2 however another 2 dishes appeared as well! As a changed from pasta and seafood (we had eaten all holiday) I went for the lamb and 4 thin lamb chops arrived which were delicious. The pudding looked like Mount Everest but again tasted amazing. It was Mille-Feuille I would have no hesitation of returning to this restaurant as it was some of the best food we had on the trip. My only negative was the music coming from the TV which was on the whole time!
It is not easy to find this place. Almost on the top of a mountain there is this restaurant with a real wonderfully view. You can sit inside or outside. The service is excellent no need to wait long to order. Food can take sometimes a while but freshly prepared. Good solid quality. Nothing really exceptional, but view and service compensate for it. We would come back.
Fresh yummy food with a gorgeous view, this place is a must visit when you are in the area. We have visited this restaurant several times and every time it has been a pleasure. Food and service are great! If you have kids, like we do, you'll love the mini playground they have. Kids will entertain themselves while food is getting ready or you are waiting on your coffee. I highly recommend this place! It won't disappoint!!
Campese is a hidden gem off the beaten path in Trivio Italy. It is in the hills just above Formia. We had been here a long time ago and always enjoyed it, so decided to revisit. It has an extensive menu of seafood, beef, wild boar. The mozzarella di buffalo is the real deal, since it comes from about 20 miles away. The ravioli stuffed with wild boar and topped with sliced porcini mushrooms was spectacular. The beef in a wine reduction was tender and flavorful. A nice wine list that was very reasonable. There was a full selection of deserts from creme caramel, cheesecake and chocolate soufflé with a hot chocolate center....yum. Do yourself a favor and try to visit in the daytime because the view is spectacular. For the warmer months there is outdoor seating. We're glad we returned to Campese and look forward to our next trip.
Simply spectacular. family ceremony (Cresima) excellent food, excellent service, maximum courtesy. I will remember for a long time the ravioli of exquisite mazzancolles. recommended recommended
