Applebee's - Forked River
Applebee's
Description
Applebee's offers a mixed dining experience that ranges from reliable favorites to a few disappointments. While some patrons rave about the stellar Double Crunch Bone-in Wings and the enjoyable Prime Rib Dipper, others have faced issues like underwhelming portions, flavor imbalances, and service inconsistencies, including improperly cooked meals. Despite a few critiques on food quality and the atmosphere, particularly unpleasant odors, the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, especially the manager, have been highlighted as key strengths. Overall, Applebee's stands as a dependable choice, albeit with room for improvement in certain areas.

The food was excellent. I just wish they had remembered to include the silverware I requested.
There was hardly any dip provided—just a half-filled 1/2 cup container, maybe around 1/4 cup of dip. For $14.00, that was quite disappointing. The fish itself was decent; it was just standard fried fish.
I ordered the nachos and chicken fingers. The nachos were lacking in flavor, dominated by a strong taste of cilantro, despite my request for none. The chicken fingers were extremely dry; even my daughter didn’t enjoy them. It’s clear that the quality of the food has really declined.
Four words: Double Crunch Bone-in Wings. They are the bomb! Honestly the best wings around. And even though I ordered in, ive visited many times and their service is outstanding. Always feel welcomed there. Highly recommend!
