The restaurant is a cozy pub that serves delicious meals. The portion sizes are very generous, particularly the Nachos starter, which is perfect for sharing between two people. The menu mainly consists of classic comfort food dishes. I really enjoyed my venison casserole. The service was great. The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer a wider selection of beers. View all feedback.

I ordered the steak pie, expecting it to come with potatoes, but it arrived with french fries instead. I was told that the menu listed the choice of side dish, which I had missed. I ordered the steak pie, expecting it to come with potatoes, but it arrived with french fries instead. I was told that the menu listed the choice of side dish, which I had missed. We did not feel very welcome during our time at the restaurant, and when we inquired about the chips, we were told that everyone takes fries. It was even difficult to find the bar to pay at the end of our meal. Overall, we were not satisfied with the service and do not plan on returning.
My friends and I went out to eat for the first time since December 2020, and unfortunately, we were disappointed. This restaurant was recommended to us by someone who had visited before the lockdowns, but it seems like they haven't quite gotten back on track yet. The waiter was uninterested in our dining experience, the white wine was served at room temperature, the steak pie meat was stringy, and the roast lamb was unrecognizable under a pile of gravy on mashed potatoes. The vegetable side was a dried-out cauliflower floret, nothing like what was shown on the website. Overall, we were not impressed with our experience. I have given it 2 stars only because the decor was nice and Glamis is a lovely area.

The staff was lovely and the food was incredible. I can't wait to return and try more dishes.
