Otter Lake Station - Forestport

My favorite place to visit when I'm passing through Old Forge is this restaurant. If you're looking to enjoy a meal in a cozy atmosphere, definitely ask for Sam!

Our family absolutely loves this local pub! The food is fantastic, especially the Friday fish fry. The atmosphere is friendly, and the service is great. Make sure to stop by, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal and good drinks!

I would rate this restaurant 4 stars mainly because the staff was extremely friendly. However, the food left a lot to be desired. While I recognize that everyone has their own cooking style, the coleslaw had an unpleasant taste. The texture was satisfying at first, but the aftertaste was off-putting, reminiscent of a package of band-aids. Similarly, the fish was a generous portion, but its aftertaste was quite unpleasant. On a brighter note, the deep-fried chicken cordon bleu balls were actually quite tasty.

Good company, good lunch.
