Was Elsie Butler at Java Jazz a mag?
Surely one of the best independent pizzerias in the south of England! Delicious pizzas and all that go with them, chilled out vibe, helpful friendly service and a great atmosphere which shifts from practical village coffee shop/eatery during the day, sunny alfresco when the sun shines on the outdoor tables, to chilled and suitable for special or romantic occasions in the evenings. What eddymaya dislikes about Java Jazz:

Only visit, but will be my last beautiful atmosphere but my meal was terrible chicken arrabiata without a single piece huh just a tomato-based sauce awlful when discussed the personal member seemed uninterested and easy to tell me with the bill unnecessary, I didn't let any tip
Disappointed with the low score. platz is fantastic, pizzas are incredibly delicious. place definitiw a visit worth
Superb food, superb coffee. java jazz is a chic caffe and restaurant in forest row. they have an excellent menu that focuses on fresh, handmade pizzas and salads. all ingredients are freshly delivered and produced by excellent and nourishing chefs. this combination of quality and attention is shown in the food and the coffee that is truly incredible the workers are helpful and really know what they are doing. whenever I look, I am always impressed by the quality of eating and the service. I would recommend java jazz exclusively for his coffee, the rest perfected the experience.
Recently immersed in this small Italian place for lunch. it was okay, but really nothing special. the good news is that they have a separate vegan menu with many options, but they can never see it unless they ask for it! the bad news is that their pizzas are nothing to be happy. not sure what kind of cheese they use, but it was very sloppy! service was moderate with employees who were more interested in watching their phones than checking out, guests were happy!

Went here for dinner with some friends and we were all very impressed. Great quality pizzas all round, very helpful and friednly staff!
When we got there the server said there was table service, after been seated for ten minutes I went to the counter to ask if they would serve us, the staff we all giggling behind the counter eventually a server came over food ordered. The cafe was freezing and all radiators were off, asked to have electric heater turned on. Food served, poor quality tbh, stale dough balls limp salad. When we were ready to pay the supervisor totally ignored us at the counter no apology given for poor service or good . Tbh this is the 2nd time food was poor
Last minute take out. Food poorly prepared and lacked any authenticity or flavour, especially at the prices they charge: Shame as we were hungry. On the plus side the dog enjoyed it.
Good authentic base but my fresca pizza seemed to have packet grated parmesan. I was expecting an authentic pizza bianca. Poncy and overpriced for a cafe.
Been coming here for 14 years and it's still a treat. As a local, I regard Java as an asset to the village and it really does boast the best coffee, ice cream and pizza in these parts. Today, I had a bacon, halloumi and avocado sandwich and it was amazing! Generous filling plus a fresh salad. Really delicious. And it's great to see that this restaurant trains and employs local young people. Many local folk continue to support Java as it's an integral part of our community so it's a good place to meet up with local friends.

A well established eatery offering a specific vegan menu alongside their other food choices. You can expect to choose from a selection of bruschettas, pizzas, pastas and salads topped off by desserts and cake. Vegan wines are also available. This is on the main road of Forest Row and free parking is only a few minutes away. We met our friends, sat in the window of this lovely café, shared pizzas and Buddha bowls and caught up with friendships. The food was ordered and unobtrusively delivered to our table. We were not hurried along and the whole experience was as good as remembered from previous visits. Whilst in Forest Row, do take advantage of the other independent shops and places to rummage before heading back to reality. This village is renowned for its vaguely bohemian living and alternative medicines; being nestled close to the Greenwich Meridian Line and all that encourages!
I had a great brunch at this restaurant with delicious Buddha bowls and a wide selection of vegan pizza options. The venue was also really nice.

My favourite dish is the tofu Buddha bowl. It’s absolutely delicious! I’ve also enjoyed the garlic bread, pizza and flapjack.
The restaurant is nicely decorated with a few books available for kids to read. The vegan menu is lovely and offers a variety of options.
