Good, long established Thai restaurant has moved to new location. New interior is a big step up. Parking less convenient than before. Vegetarian options: Almost all main dishes are available in vegetable or tofu options. Parking: New location doesn't have easy parking for pickup. Depending on the day and time, parking can be a hassle. Usually not too bad. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Fo... View all feedback.
What Neville Mistri doesn't like about Yum Thai:
Not bad, but not great food. Nice staff and atmosphere. I don't know what happened to Thai food in Chicago. It all seems overly oily and sweetened. My Thai sister in law made amazing Thai food I can't seem to find anywhere. Yum Thai's pad thai is so heavy and full of oil. The satay chicken was pretty good though. The yum goong salad looked like it came out of a vending machine. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
