Forest
Forest
Description
A Forest Park institution for decades, this nostalgic spot is best known for signature wings, crispy catfish and fried rice served in an eclectic, dimly lit space with deer-heads, an aquarium and pool tables. Attentive servers, cold bottled beer and reliable takeout make it a favored after-work hangout. Criticisms include small, dated restrooms, a B health inspection (85), lack of handicap access and some patrons’ reports of owner rudeness and alleged racial bias—yet longtime regulars remain loyal to the flavors.

My husband's favorite dinner is wings. His favorite taste is spicy as possible. He doesn't enjoy wings that don't let him die from the spicy kick. This restaurant is the only exception. The wings here are amazing. They have enough of a kick to feel it, but not to kill and the taste is absolutely mouth water. Usually you get taste or spice, but rarely the two. He's been driving from Duluth since I met him for those wings. The actual restaurant is a bit dim and the only negative is the bathroom is far from perfect. The food speaks for itself. Anyone who is a wing lover should try this point. You have the best wings in the Atlanta and Greater Atlanta area we tried.
Had it when I was 5 and pulled out of a state and STILL dream of stopping their hot wings and rice wordh every time I see.
I usually order delivery from this place, but I love it so much, especially the food! I typically get the chicken tenders and hot wings, and they are really delicious. I just wish my mom would take me to dine in!
