Al's Plaice - Forest of Dean

Many thanks for the production of gluten free fish and chips that tasted fabulous.

That is by far the best chippy in coleford. the fish was delicious, the chips were perfectly cooked and the service was so friendly and welcoming. if they never tried this place, they really have to. avoid the other, 3 times we had an rude experience with over cooked food. we never had a problem with al’s. even better with all new boxes and effort with the packaging, and the small additional touch of a lemon slice and pot of the tartaric acid sauce with the fish. very impressed.

Absolutely nice eating! the first time I try and have to say that I was very impressed. not only was eating nice and all cooked fresh, but the staff was fantastic and very informative how long food would take. very good customer service, would recommend to anyone who wants fresh food, price-performance ratio and a great team. will definitely not be anywhere else near here. Brilliant fish and chips cooked to perfection. the additional touches of lemon and a creamy tartaric acid sauce made it the best that I had in a long time. keep them high standards.

Pre ordered our food last night but was running late to get them. When we got there we apologised for being late. The guys there couldn’t do enough for us, they did our food from scratch again as they said the order would of been sitting there for too long. Fantastic service and the best chippy ever. Thanks so much again and can’t wait to come back soon.
