Lido Chinese Restaurant - Forest Lake

Lido chinese has been around as long as I have. Previous owners set up over 30 years ago and in that time have undoubtedly served every person who ever lived within 5km radius. The food was always good, filling and mid-range cost. Now there are new owners for the last 2-3 years and there have been changes. The building has shrunk to about half the size it used to be due to I guess more take-out orders than diners. Ambiance is very similar throughout the years, nice but not over the top. Food is as expected for a mid-range chinese place. Nothing to rave about but at the same time not bad. All in all not a bad experience but nothing making me go back either.

Love this little Chinese Restaurant in Acacia Ridge,,, my wife,son I go there regularly have the food always tasty,Hot Fresh,,, The staff are always very friendly and will greet you with a warm welcome... The prices are very reasonable the service very fast... we enjoy going there each time..We even drive there from Ipswich because we love the food from there so much... we will keep going back,, Highly Recomend Lido Chinese for Terrific,Tasty Food.

Friendly owners, who were very helpful to guide me to menu choices to suit my allergy needs. No gluten, they use other flours such as potato starch no yeast, because they use real chicken stock. So enjoyable to be able to eat an entree again. I had the deep fried prawn paper rolls stir fried beef. Yummy! The cafe is take-away or dine in. Very clean with good old fashioned service.

Had heard there were new owners at the LIDO at Acacia Ridge ,thought we might give it a go .went there last night and were very happy to see there was room inside for a sit down meal.Ordered what we thought was just right we found the servings were good and at the end we couldn't eat another bite.

Top quality food, loaded with gluten free options for Coeliacs. Full understanding and care taken not to cross-contaminate. Will prepare extra options with prior notice for larger groups. Happy to travel from Beenleigh to Acacia Ridge for a great meal. Highlights would be paper prawn and paper chicken.
