Corner Cafe - Forest Lake

It's a very nice cafe. It has a few picnic tables with umbrellas at the outdoor area for dog lovers. The menu for breakfast was not extensive but good. We ordered the vegetarian breakfast. The halloumi was tasty and the serving size was quite big. However, the coffee was below average though. I guess I would try the berries smoothies next time as I saw a few people ordered it.

Drove to visit this cafe a second time and realize that it has under the new management. I could not remember what type of coffee was served before but whey are serving Di Bella now. The only unforgettable was the experience of having the croissant with ham and cheese last time because it was the first time I had the "Toasted" croissant, which killed the senses of soft and flaky, and any tenderness of melting in the mouth. Therefore I purposefully ordered the croissant without toast (it is named the toast croissant on the menu). When it was presented on my table, the lovely waitress was so exciting to tell me that it was just out of the oven. Well, I was still disappointed because the first sight on this croissant was the burnt exterior and it was so "flaky" to the extent of losing the shape that it should be. Had a go but there was no miracle. I wish the management could look at that. Having said that the coffee was nice poured and the service was friendly.

I like the quinoa salad I had. It's quite balanced for me, and filling. The halloumi, pear and the sauce are just on point. The coffee there is alright though.

Not serving any food or coffee at midday on a Tuesday, even though their own website and details online and on zomato state they are open 7 days serving food and drinks until 2pm / 4pm. I was told they "aren't really open for coffee" when I walked in, and there was no chef to cook food. Great, so what kind of cafe are you? Clearly did not want any business, will not bother again in the future.

Called in for a Saturday morning breakfast. Potato Rosti was great, generous serve of bacon and well presented on the plate. Friendly staff Nice location.
