White Hart Pub - Forest Heath

I had a great experience at this charming, friendly pub that serves delicious homemade food. The staff was attentive, efficient, and always willing to assist. The locals were friendly and even engaged in banter with my son. Despite the smaller front room, there was ample comfortable seating and an additional back room with more tables. The establishment was clean, had cute decor, and well-maintained bathrooms. I would definitely return for another visit.

My family and I stopped at The White Hart on our way to Bury St Edmunds for lunch on a Saturday with our three grandchildren. We opted to sit in the courtyard on this beautiful day, and the atmosphere was delightful. The menu had a good variety, and they were accommodating in preparing smaller portions for the kids. The food was absolutely delicious, made to order and served piping hot and fresh. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and the owner was incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about the establishment. It's a charming traditional English pub, a rare find these days. Definitely deserving of 5 stars, and we will be back for sure.

If you would like a Sunday lunch thats cooked on the premises and sourced locally then look no further. The food is superb and there is plenty of meat and veg. It appears to be fully booked every week so definately book well in advance, you won't be sorry.

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast today. Beautifully home cooked, tender pork, and so many vegetables including the largest cauliflower cheese I’ve seen. The staff were so helpful, kind and couldn’t do enough for us. Can’t wait to go back.

Once again a perfect Sunday lunch that is absolutely to die for Lovely warm welcome from the host .could not ask for anymore oh a nice open fire this pub has to be visited to be believed fantastic friendly village pub with fantastic food can not recommend it highly enough.
