Have no idea why this restaurant is so far down the list on trip advisor. When we visited every table was taken. In fact people who had not booked were eating in the bar, which is not a bad alternative. We opted for the lunchtime carvery and so glad we did. We made a reservation for dinner to commemorate a family wedding anniversary. We were greeted warmly and escorted to our table promptly. Our drink and food orders were promptly taken and arrived without delay. The food was delicious and the service was courteous and amicable. It was disappointing that there was only one other table of diners present. Despite that, we had a pleasant and relaxed evening.
I brought a group of 14 people to this restaurant after a tour of Newmarket. The staff were lovely and organized, setting up a long table for us and managing the bill for couples and singles in our group. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was upscale. We all had a great time relaxing and enjoying a tasty lunch together. We had pre-ordered from the main menu, but there was a carvery option available on the day of our visit as well. The decor was above average, with a well-furnished interior and a racehorse theme. The toilets were quite luxurious, which received positive comments from our group.
THANKYOU! We had the most wonderful evening celebrating. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was outstanding we were looked after 100% throughout the whole evening. Amazing disco and great atmosphere created! Would thoroughly recommend any type of celebration to be hosted here!

We were a family of five visiting for a carvery lunch. Everyone was pleased with the friendly service and the meal which was good value. Hope to visit again soon!
