The atmosphere w... read more A group of eleven of us had lunch at the Schindlerkeller on Saturday afternoon. We arrived shortly before noon and received a friendly welcome. The atmosphere was immediately pleasant: rustic, cozy, typically Franconian, and despite it being October, it was nice and warm and inviting inside. The food was truly outstanding. I had a perfectly prepared pan-fried schnitzel – crispy, juicy, and perfectly flavored. The others in our group were also very satisfied. The portions were generous, the quality was consistently very good, and the value for money was absolutely spot on. The desserts at the end were also delicious and rounded off the meal nicely. One small point that stood out: The service could have used a bit more support that day. It was visibly busy, and with one more person on duty, it would have been a bit more relaxed. Nevertheless, the staff were friendly and attentive, which didn't detract from the positive overall impression. All in all, a highly recommended beer cellar with excellent cuisine. We felt at home, ate well, and will definitely return.
