A great find in St Kilda. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff managed to organise a table for 7 of us within minutes. A varied menu catering for all tastes - I had the Fajitas which were fantastic BUT left me no room for a dessert! Reservation advisable! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Elbow Room:
Decor a bit dated and trying too hard.Service is great however.Food very average. Possibly to cater for tourists.Much better places in the area so we probably won't be back.Only tried it for the entertainment card discount. Buy 1 get 1 main meal free.No Amex accepted. View all feedback.

Really great food. Perfect house Olives. Try the Lot 3 Grenache 2007. Skip the steamed squid, adored the pork belly main. Service was fantastic and caring to children, though there is no children's menu. We have fussy eaters, they had a piece of their fantastic sour dough bread.
I tried the special risotto and was very satisfied with it.
During my short visit to Melbourne and stay in St Kilda, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a restaurant.
