What Dee Geo 40 H doesn't like about Carrolls Gastro Pub:
Came in on a bank holiday Monday just as they opened, so naturally there is no atmosphere at that time. Staff were very nice. I ordered the breakfast. Was mediocre at best. Chips were over fried, too dry. I don't think chips even belong in an Irish breakfast. Pudding was same, over fried, too dry and relatively bland. Chips were over fried, too dry. I don't think chips even belong in an Irish breakfast. Pudding was same, over fried, too dry and relatively bland. Everything tasted like it was thrown into a deep fat frier- every drop of moisture eradicated. At least the 2 eggs were runny! I'd make a better breakfast myself.
