Casale Sera - FONTANA LIRI

We ate here last night as it was recommended by the host of our b&b. And we were so happy to have taken his advice! It was a bit difficult to find, but worth the effort. The food is all home made and you can tell! Home cured meats and salami as an antipasto, then we opted for home made gnocchi with pancetta and courgette. The meat was definitely the best part though! So tender we could cut it with a fork! The owner was extremely helpful in giving us some of the local history and suggesting places to visit. Will definitely go back the next time we are in the area!

We happened here by chance, having been to the falls of the islands liri, but in the village there was no place to eat, and I feel to say thankfully, the lady who welcomed us very kind, explains to us to the thread and for sign that everything was made in the house, and directly from the producer to the consumer, I presume also to km all very good, and the owners very kind. I recommend it.

I celebrated my daughter's confirmation on this farm. we were satisfied with everything. from food, service, kindness. quiet place to spend a serene day eating excellent dishes
