My family and I absolutely love this place. They have authentic food and it is a family oriented environment. I highly recommend this place. I should probably cook more often but this place is so good and convenient I keep coming back. View all feedback.
What Myrtis Nienow doesn't like about El Colima Mexican Grill:
The food was decent, but paying at the restaurant was a hassle. They only accept cash and there's an ATM on-site, so be sure to visit a bank before you go. Also, I noticed that the cooks weren't wearing masks. Good luck! View all feedback.

First off, we waited nearly 40 minutes for our food, even though other customers had been waiting even longer. The kitchen was chaotic—completely disorganized and in disarray. When our food finally arrived, it was somehow cold. My tacos came with onions, despite my clear request for none. They simply scraped the onions off one taco and then insisted that I never mentioned my preference. I’ve been ordering from here for a long time and always request no onions. Eventually, they removed the onions from the other two tacos as well. As for the torta, it was just a hunk of bread with meat, a dollop of sour cream, and a side of guacamole. It was the worst torta I’ve ever had, and tortas are my go-to Mexican dish. The sopes were inedibly hard, and my son couldn't even finish his cheeseburger, claiming he didn’t like it. When a 10-year-old leaves a cheeseburger uneaten, that's a major red flag. Overall, the food was terrible, which reflected on the service. The beans and rice tasted like they were reheated from frozen and aged. The chips were stale, and everything was just bad. To top it off, the prices are quite high. Be cautious if you decide to use your ATM card; they’ll charge you extra—like if your bill is $35, they’ll charge you $40 and give you $5 in change. In short, I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
How can you be closed on Taco Tuesday? Your marketing strategy is really lacking!
