The food was quite unusual, and I struggled to determine the restaurant's identity as the menu featured a mix of dishes from various cuisines. The service was disappointing, despite being the only patrons in the restaurant. We initially planned to visit ZeroZero, only to find out it had changed its name just two weeks before our arrival. The waiter needed reminders for items we ordered, which he had jotted down. We received our pizzas before the salad and had to inquire about our pasta after finishing the pizzas—he had forgotten about it. At least the pizza was decent. Being from out of state, we expected a much better experience, especially considering the high prices associated with our meal. Overall, it was disappointing, and we won’t be coming back.
I’ll rate it 4 stars because I appreciate more than just the food when it comes to a restaurant. The service was excellent; the manager or owner was very attentive and they were fantastic. However, the food itself was quite bland. We ordered the amatriciana pasta and a seafood pasta, along with fried calamari and some stuffed balls. None of it was particularly memorable.
Things quickly went downhill from there. While the drinks were acceptable, our sole waitress—who was very friendly—was handling everything by herself, serving drinks one at a time. It took over 15 minutes for the entire party to receive our drinks. We ordered pizza as an appetizer, which was one of the few bright spots of the evening, along with a decent Greek salad. However, these two items weren't enough to elevate our experience. For dinner, our group ordered cacio e pepe, pasta all'amatriciana, and chicken karrage. The pasta was clearly from a box, which would have been forgivable if it had been cooked correctly. Unfortunately, many pieces were undercooked and stuck together. The cacio e pepe was worse than Kraft mac and cheese, and the amatriciana was so bland that even salt and pepper couldn't salvage it. The chicken karrage was described as a Japanese bento box-style dish, but it turned out to be just six sad chicken nuggets on a plate with no sauce. To add to our frustration, it took about 45 minutes to receive our entrees. Overall, this was the worst restaurant experience I can recall. I was extremely disappointed because I had heard great things about ZeroZero, and it felt like we were misled into making a reservation at a subpar restaurant. ZeroZero needs to be removed from OpenTable immediately! While our waitress was kind, it couldn't make up for the awful food. Save yourself the trouble and don’t go here!
Just found this spot randomly. Lunch was excellent. Amazing pizza, best Greek salad I’ve ever had. Great vibes, decor and service. Our whole party had the same comments about their meals. Highly recommend!
We made a reservation for ZeroZero but when we arrived at the restaurant and scanned the QR code, we were taken to a menu for a restaurant named Sha. Confused, we thought we had ended up at the wrong restaurant. The waitress then told us that had changed the restaurant two days ago. When we asked her about the menu, she said stick with the Italian dishes, they were popular and leftover from the old restaurant. Things started to go downhill very quickly from there. The drinks were ok but the poor singular waitress (who was super nice! was making them all by herself and serving them to us one by one. It took us over 15 minutes for our whole party to get our drinks. We ordered the pizza as an appetizer and that was about the only bright spot in this whole dinner. The Greek salad was also ok. Those are the only items that would even make me consider giving this place more than a star, but even that wasn 't enough to save the dinner. For dinner, our party ordered the cacio e pepe, pasta amatriciana, and chicken karrage. The pasta was clearly boxed pasta, which would be fine, if it was cooked even remotely correctly. They took Al Dente to a whole new meeting as many of the pieces of pasta were barely cooked and clumped together. The cacio e pepe was worse than Kraft Mac and cheese and the amatriciana was so bland that even salt and pepper couldn 't help it. The chicken karrage was described as a Japanese Bento Box style chicken but was 6 sad chicken nuggets on a plate with no sauce. Oh, and it took about 45 minutes to get our entrees. Overall, this is the worst restaurant experience I can ever remember having. Was extremely disappointed as ZeroZero had great reviews, and I feel like our dining party was duped into making a reservation at a terrible restaurant under the guise of another. ZeroZero should be taken off of Open Table ASAP!!!! Our waitress was nice but it couldn 't make up for the absolute terrible food. Either way Don 't go here!!!
