Sabor Latino - Fontainebleau

This place is closed for business! No longer exists! We wanted to check it out on our trip there this month, but it is no longer an active business.

We ate here on Jan 17/15. Your typical mom pop shop. The place was clean, waitresses were friendly, the food was absolutely fantastic and the price was perfect.

Great value and very tasty. I had the steak and wife had the bistec pollo (chicken). Both of us had the rice (perfectly done). Meats were juicy and tender. Staff was attentive even with the evening rush kicking in.

I would die for their yuca and lay in the garlic sauce

We went to a more famous seafood restaurant in the neighborhood first but we weren't very happy with the food there. For the price, it was just OK. However, when we went to Sabor Latino and ordered our seafood, it was a pleasant surprise. Coming from an island where the seafood is always fresh and the cuisine is rich in variety, I'm quite picky on seafood. That's why we were very surprised at the freshness of the food in Sabor Latino and the friendly price. I went there twice. I tried their red snapper and king fish steak. I love their king fish steak. Very fresh and no greasy breading at all. I hope they will keep up the good work so I can go there again next year.
