Kyu Miami - Fontainebleau

Let me start off by saying that the cauliflower dish was fantastic and the atmosphere is nice. The service is truthfully not the best as the waitress did the bare minimum, was not very friendly or attentive. The tuna crispy rice felt like i was eating cement, it was so dry and it was stale. The flavor of the fried chicken was great, but in my opinion it was a bit dry. This place has the potential to be good, but there are just some things lacking.

Excellent meal and experience while dining at Kyu. Service was exceptional.

This is what i said a few years ago: All dishes are simply excellent. Must go. Today in would give it 3 stars, I gave it 4 out of respect, the food is mehhh, I don’t think it’s different from a few years ago, it’s that our perspective changed. Stay away if you are a sybarites.

We had an amazing experience last night eating at KYU. The drinks, food, service and ambiance were unparalleled. Special shoutout to Thomas Favorule for the incredible operations of this magnificent restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!
