Overall the pizza was good. We tried 4 different kinds and my favorite were the arugula with buratta and the prosciutto. You are charged by the weight of the pizza and I found it to be a bit expensive. I also didn't see prices posted with the pizzas. Overall the pizza was very good, but on the pricer side. What Mel A Nie doesn't like about Bonci Pizzeria:
Great concept. Good pizza dough, although toppings very scarce. Dough was made in the morning Skimpy and poor quality salads. Beer Is very expensive. Service inattentive and very average.Don’t expect what they offer in Rome.Maybe a good takeout option? View all feedback.
I am allergic to tomato. I specifically not only looked at the ingredient list (which didn't include tomato) and went a step further and put no tomato in the notes. I also asked for mushroom and spinach to be added to the pizza. Long story short, this restaurant either doesn't read the notes or doesn't care because the pizza came with tomato and the mushrooms and spinach came in separate containers. Also, they label themselves as a vegan place and yet use plastic containers and plastic bags (who uses plastic bags in this day and age). Just tied in a knot easily opened at the top so if anyone wants to open it and eat or tamper in any way with the food, it's a piece of cake. I am vegan and want to support vegan businesses but you HAVE to get your act together!
3.75 star review....Been to the Rome location and looked forward to this visit. Good pizza but not as good as the Rome location. Don't do the marinated onion pizza as it's not close to the juniper onion you get in Rome. Chicken Parm was good with a kick of spice. Zucchini ricotta was a favorite.
Yum yum! They had so many choices that looked delicious and were veggie friendly. I had Bufala and peppers and Bufala and arugula. Both were delicious but the arugula was my favorite. It took my husband 10 minutes to order from all the meat choices. The crust is delicious and not too heavy. They use fresh, quality ingredients. The service was upbeat and friendly. My new fur baby approved as well!!!
Slice to the right $3.50 (pepperoni), Slice to the right $8 (meat lovers). Width determines the weight which determines the price (typical European way of ordering). Even with those ridiculous prices, the quality doesn't match the cost. The quality would t even match a reasonable price. So price aside, this is a let down. Great location had the opportunity to shine. There are so many other pizza in wynwood that will absorb business. I recommend checking them out inside. Here, you will be disappointed.
