A group of five of us were seated immediately upon arrival. Our drinks arrived within five minutes of sitting down, and our food was served within 20 minutes. The service was fast, the waitress was friendly, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back. What Ethan Buxton doesn't like about El Patron Mexican Grill:
During my most recent visit, I ordered a macho burrito and my companion ordered a Mexican salad. Before we could start eating, my companion noticed a large bug moving in her food. I informed the waitress about this, but she brushed it off and didn't seem concerned. This really disappointed me as it ruined our appetites.

Outstanding!!! I'm not usually a fan of authentic Mexican food but this place has outstanding food. All around top notch. The food is delicious and the staff are great!
Found this place on accident when researching fish tacos as we were driving thru town from a recent hospital visit in Milwaukee. We were planning on just getting a meal to go but when we pulled up the place was so cute we decided to stay and sit down. The service was polite and efficient, the food was authentic and amazing. My friends shrimp fajita salad had super sized shrimp and super fresh vegetables. My fish tacos didn't have that much fish but the fish that was there was grilled and delicious. We were excited to find this place and will definitely be back.
Our server, Alex, was an absolute 11/10. Our first visit, we were seated promptly by the host despite a very large group having been seated ahead of us. The menu is extensive and clear. We chose Mexican style taco platter and Enchiladas Colorado- all very generous portions and tasty. My date treated me to one of their signature tequila drinks- it was delicious. Alex advised us our order may take a bit longer due to the v large group. No problem at all- we appreciated the honesty and the heads-up. We decided to queue up the Brewers baseball game on our media device while we waited. Alex took notice and offered to put the game on one of the wall mounted tvs in the dining area. Awesome! Turns out the game was being played in SF, therefore out-of-market for their provider. The offer was still much appreciated. Every visit to our table, Alex took the time to make certain we were enjoying our visit, and as it was the end of service, we had an opportunity to chat w him personally. I loved everything about this restaurant and plan on going to eat there many more times. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and friendly.
We have been going to other Mexican restaurants in the area for a few years and somehow this one had not come across our radar. We are so happy it finally did! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so happy and friendly!
