The food is some of the best in the area. Never left disappointed, or hungry. Been back several times, service is always great too. Plus how can you say no to a rainbow margarita?? View all feedback.

I had not been here in quite awhile after having a “not great” meal a few months ago, but thought I’d give the place a second chance. Big mistake. I was greeted by a boy around 12 years old who was doing double duty as a greater/babysitter to an infant in a stroller next to the cashier station. No big deal. I was soon greeted by a woman who seated me and gave me a menu and took my drink order. It was 6:00 on a Monday night and there were very few customers so I expected relatively fast service. Wrong. When the (only) waitress who was also the woman who seated me finally came to take my order, she failed to bring me any chips and salsa, even though the group of 7 and the couple that came in after me each were brought some. A few teenage boys were appearing from time to time, but clearly not to clear the many dirty tables (again, business was slow). I thought surely my waitress would bring me my food after painfully taking the orders for the group of seven. Nope. Instead I waited even longer while the group of 2 that also came in after me were served their fajitas. It was then that my waitress came to me and asked me to give her my order again. Apparently it got lost. I very patiently did so and asked if I could get some chips and salsa while I waited. She told me yes. More waiting. They were certainly not in any hurry to make things right. Finally part of my meal came. She told me that they would comp part of my meal and I thanked her. She told me that my enchilada and chips would be out shortly. Nope. After that I was completely ignored until I finally decided to leave. The waitress met me as I got up to leave and asked me if I had ever gotten my enchilada. SHE was the only waitress!! If she hadn’t brought it to me, who did she think would??? When I told her no and that I wanted to settle up, she seemed to temporarily forget about comping part of the bill until I reminded her. Really??! In total, I was there for 1 hour and 50 minutes. The tables were still dirty and I never did get to try the chips and salsa. Wonder if they are any good? I guess I’ll never know because I’m never going back. The real kicker was that I got the impression that they really didn’t care about the terrible service. From now on I’ll stick with Riviera Maya.
As I sit here awake at 2 am. I contemplate throwing up or fighting the urge... what has me up? A super rare episode of heartburn? Or is it the dried out shredded chicken, dried out rice, or even the salsa that tasted like canned stewed tomatoes? I can assure you it is not from eating spicy foods! Tonight it was incredibly bland! Taco Bell and Taco Johns is more flavorable and fresh then tonight's meal. I should have known better! There were so many signs, the past experiences have not been good. I remember when they changed the cheese! It was changed to a mushy white substance a few years ago and that marks the fall of this restaurant. The second sign, the strewn empty drink bottles, sweatshirts, blankets, and silverware waiting to be wrapped in the first booth. The third, should have been the abandoned booth next to it with the remains of someone's meal. Hard to say how long that had been there, but still it was odd. As we picked up the kiddos from my mom's, I finally asked what has happened to this place? There used to be so much pride? The owner once told us that his family may have grown up poor but they always had clean things, and kept what they had nice. They respected their things. These last few years have made no sense. What does make sense? It has changed to different owners! We will not be coming back! What once was is no more. Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I am going to visit the little girls room again and hope for the best, because this gal, in 4 hours, has to get ready for work..if possible...
Good night. I'm telling you that I worked for two weeks in this restaurant, but Mrs. Talia told me that she didn't pay me for the two weeks and I sent her a message, read me nothing. I really did need the money, but I never saw a person as shameless as Eya. And because I didn't want to go to the labor department, she's a Mexican, so I do it with me. I don't know how many people I did it to her. I'm a sweeper in New York, and well, you told me what I did with me, if I didn't have how to pay, they would have told me I don't have money. to pay but God take care of eya be very careful if you go to Wisconsin look for work at this restaurant because this lady Talia is very scoundrel she likes to take advantage of people it's a shame being the owner but that doesn't matter it's better to speak clearly

We were greeted. The host said we could either be seated now at a table or wait for a booth to be cleaned. There were no other patrons. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce with cilantro. The chips were okay. They didn 't have any horchata made. No biggie but still. We got our food and I had asked for spicier salsa.... It was not. The food was really off. We didn 't eat much of it. But still had to pay full price. Oh wait we got $2 bucks off for sloth slow service and taco bell Mexican food. Would not recommend nor will we be back.
