What Matt Cook likes about La Frite Du Nord:
Very good British style chip shop chips. I haven't experienced these in France or Belgium before so I'm intrigued which bit of the north they come from. Also had a burger which was good. Sorry, we're going to spoil the atmosphere. The fries, worthy of the North as well as the friendliness and hospitality, but the hamburgers, a disaster. The bread in crumbs as if it had come out of the freezer with the food you have left in your fingers except the cheese which was not melted. Too bad, because the notes looked good.
