2/14/2023: I ordered the following--Pastrami on Rye, tossed salad with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and a cold drink. The entire sandwich combo meal was absolutely filling, i.e., wonderful; the Rye bread was moist while the Pastrami was tender. Seriously, I couldn't inhale the other half of the Pastrami on Rye sandwich and the salad, too . . . Therefore, I'll inhale both tomorrow for my second lunch! BTW: For some reason, I truly thought this was a Poke restaurant I visited in 2020; however, I really don't know anymore~lol since, I moved to Placerville, i.e., I rarely visit this area of Folsom. Nevertheless, I'll return to WCS when I visit Folsom in the future.
What James Gibbs doesn't like about West Coast Sourdough Folsom:
Service is acceptable. Bathroom very clean. Bread is true sour Sourdough, so actually doesn't flavor or texture match with most of their sandwich meats/salads. Not to my taste and at least 15% over the price I would expect for the volume. Go to the deli at Nugget Market, MUCH better and more options! View all feedback.
Outstanding sandwich on the best sourdough this side of San Francisco...thank you West Coast Sourdough I moved to Roseville two years ago and have been searching and searching for real sourdough..worth the drive to Folsom...Mmmmmmmmm
Super clean! Friendly and courteous staff. It would appear the salads are already packed and ready to hand over, since I ordered mine without onions or tomatoes but they were in the salad. Shouldn?t be too difficult to just say it was premade when I ordered it special. My husband ordered extra onions and didn?t get but one or two thin slices. That aside, the Greek Salad was decent with a great dressing and the small was plenty for a light lunch. The sourdough for thesandwich and the slices on the side of the salad were delish.
This place is really clean inside and fair prices. The staff was really helpful with our choices and were really friendly. The sandwiches and salads were really good and fresh. The BBQ Brisket sandwich tasted smoked and was really soft as it should be. First time coming of many more to come

Excellent sandwiches, for a phenomenal price point. I'm fairly certain they make their own bread in house. I had a reuben on sourdough and it was fantastic. Everything from the artisanal cheese, to the sauerkraut, savory corned beef, and even the dressing was amazing.
