I was very presently surprised at the service and the food after having read the Google reviews others have left. Today I had the chicken street tacos and a London Fog hot tea. Both were delicious. The prices are average Cali prices so if you're from out of town don't flip out. My chicken street tacos kinda reminded me of Torchy's tacos in Texas. My wife and I had just wrapped up our Saturday walk. We decided to try Sociology for the first time. We walked in and the employees we made eye contact with, acted like they have never seen a black couple before. We were greeted with nasty frowns, like we didn’t belong there. Best coffee in Folsom hands down. And their breakfast panitos are flipping delicious!!They also have some unique coffee drinks that are pretty good

Just off the American River bike trail, Sociology is a great place to take a break. Pictured is their oat milk mocha. I usually pair it with a veggie sandwich on fresh-baked sourdough. Fantastic!
