Skipolini's - Folsom

Tonight with my friend and had a great dinner. Carson visited us and was very friendly had great customer service. I ordered the Italian wedding meatball soup and it was so much more delicious than I expected after adding the parmesan. Will definitely come back to taste their pizza!

We tried Skipolini when we created for a pizza and often drove past. I called and ordered family pizza: half prego pizza and half martelli. The waiting period was about half an hour when I arrived to pick up, I waited about 5 minutes for my pizza as it was quite busy in the restaurant. The pizza itself was delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh. Both types contained a lot of filling (sp. Prego). The crust was well cooked and the gum. However, both were too salty for our taste. The lower rating was due to the price of pizza. For about $45 (with tax tips) for big pizza, it felt like we paid handmade pizza. So it was a solid 3.5 star. Not sure if we come back because there are some cheaper alternatives.

Great food, especially the extensive selection for vegetarians. One plate was sitting under the heat lamp too long, otherwise everything else was fresh. Attention. Fair prices. Rare mix of beautiful ambience and good TV placement for sport viewing!

We have not eaten in this restaurant yet, but the outside seating is really nice. They have an area with ceiling fans to keep you cool on hot days. They allow dogs on their patio and will bring water for them if you want. They have an outdoor play structure for the little kids. I really enjoy the atmosphere here. The food is okay. A little over priced for what it is, but usually is cooked very well. We have only been here twice, but I would expect that we will be there again. Very nice for families with smaller kids or people with dogs.
